Many advisors promise a tailor-made trip without explaining what's behind it. This is exactly what happens, step by step, from the first contact to the day you get home.
The process, step by step

We talk
When someone reaches out — through the form, WhatsApp or a call — the first step is scheduling a call with enough time to really talk. That conversation covers much more than dates and destination: budget, expectations, and details that shape the design of the trip — like flight class — so I can properly gauge what kind of experience fits each traveler.

I design
With that information, I design the itinerary together with the local operator at the destination. The result is presented in a proposal document with a detailed day-by-day plan, photos and references for the hotels, and specific flights — usually at two hotel levels, so the traveler can compare and decide with clear costs.

We refine
From there, a back-and-forth begins with the traveler: adjustments to the proposal, questions, small changes to hotels or pace, until the itinerary matches exactly what they're looking for. Nothing is finalized until the traveler is sure about what they're going to experience.

I'm with you
Once the itinerary is finalized, we set the payment schedule — an initial deposit and a second payment 30 to 45 days before departure — and hold a preparation meeting, in person if possible or by video call, one or two weeks before departure. During the trip, 24/7 support with check-ins every 3-4 days. When you're back, a feedback call one or two weeks later to close the loop.
My method
I increasingly make room in the way I work for active listening: sensing the people who reach out to me, what point in life they're at, what the real purpose of that trip is, and how open they are to letting the trip move something inside them. I let my intuition and what I pick up on from each person guide the design of the trip that suits them best.
Not all my travelers are looking for the same thing, and the first step is understanding what each one needs. For many, what they value most is disconnecting completely and enjoying themselves without complications — and that kind of comfort deserves just as much care in the design as any other trip. For others, when they're open to it, I encourage taking on some risk: pushing a little past the edges of the comfort zone, because that's where a trip can bring something new into your life, even if it isn't always comfortable.
Every trip I design draws on everything I've seen with others, but I try not to let myself be shaped by what worked for previous travelers: everyone who calls me deserves to be listened to from scratch, not fitted into a mold from past trips. Designing this way, starting from zero every time, is slower, but it's the only way I know to make a trip truly theirs.
The other half of the craft happens on the ground: a large part of my work is acting as a bridge between the traveler and my partners in each destination — the suppliers who make every experience possible. That's why I place more and more importance on choosing those partnerships well and looking after them: knowing exactly what each partner can offer, and what they can't, is an essential part of the craft. That relationship of trust with each partner is, at its core, an extension of the same trust I try to build with the traveler.

Our experience has been wonderful. Will organized our trip around Thailand to perfection, matching exactly what we wanted in terms of places to visit, type of hotels, etc. We had private transport at all times (comfortable, safe, punctual) and didn't have to worry about a thing. We just finished our second big trip with Will. The first was last summer to Tanzania, and this time we traveled through Norway. It's been absolutely amazing. Once again, better than we expected, which is hard given how high the bar already was. Having visited Oslo, Bergen and Ålesund (and the nearby fjords), the Lofoten Islands, in the north of the country, felt like being on another planet. We had a dream house on a small island, and got around by our own boat. Landscapes and endless sunsets — you have to go there to really understand it. The whole trip came together perfectly again: wonderful hotels, exquisite meals at the best restaurants, and incredible activities in dreamlike settings: a river cruise, a fishing boat, a speedboat safari. And all of it with excellent guides. That said, we're already thinking about our next destination with Will...

Everything went perfectly — the transfers, the choice of hotels, the restaurants and the guides... He got us Spanish-speaking guides in every city we visited, and there were quite a few. Frequently asked questions
How far in advance should I start?
Ideally, between three and six months. With that much time I can negotiate well, choose without rushing, and book what's genuinely worth it. There's no minimum. You can also travel well with less than a month, but the options do narrow: the accommodations I'd recommend may not have availability, and some experiences simply can't be improvised. If that's your situation, write to me and I'll tell you honestly what can be done with the time you have.
What kinds of trips do you not design?
I don't sell one-off flights or standalone hotel bookings: my work is designing the complete trip. Every trip is tailor-made, and that calls for a budget to match. We talk about it from the first conversation, so you know right away whether it fits what you have in mind.
Is the business legal and backed by insurance?
Yes. I operate as a travel agency registered with the Community of Madrid under the name William Fogg Asesor Personal de Viajes, CICMA 3956, and I hold the mandatory insurance required of a travel agency, including financial guarantee coverage against insolvency.
How does support work while I'm traveling?
While you travel I'm available 24 hours a day for whatever you need, and in every destination I work with trusted local partners who can resolve any mishap on the ground. My work doesn't end when you book.
How do you charge?
I charge a fee for ground services — a percentage of the total — and a small commission on each flight ticket issued. As a registered travel agency, I hold the mandatory insurance required by the Community of Madrid to operate.
What happens if something goes wrong during the trip?
If something goes wrong, you're not on your own: you have emergency phone numbers at your destination, my 24/7 support while you travel, and the travel insurance I arrange for every traveler.
How is the proposal presented?
If you live in Madrid, I'll present the proposal wherever you prefer. If not, by video call, with the same level of detail and the same amount of time.
