Getting to know each other is an important part of the process. Here I tell you a bit about me and how I see and live travelling.
The traveller
For as long as I can remember, traveling has been part of my life. I started young, exploring Europe in depth, and over time made the leap to longer journeys, mostly across Asia, eventually taking on months-long overland routes. The one that marked me most was a three-month journey from Madrid to Cairo, crossing France, Italy, Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Israel.
India holds a special place for me. I've gone back many times, and I feel a particular affinity for its people, its landscapes, and its chaos and disorder. In India I've traveled by every imaginable means of transport: car, motorbike, train, bus, donkey, horse, camel, boat, canoe. Reaching remote villages in the mountains, where water, electricity and roads don't yet reach, is almost like traveling back in time and witnessing a way of life that has stayed the same for thousands of years — and that opens up new horizons for how I live once I'm back in my own world. Although India is a challenging country to travel without planning, it's also a great teacher. Many more countries have captured my imagination and connected me with humanity and nature in one way or another.
What has marked me most from all these travels isn't the places, but the people: a goat herder in Greece, a Chinese executive in Bangkok, a sadhu on a mountain in Himachal. When the connection with someone so different from you goes beyond words, you carry away something of how that person sees the world.
The prism
I increasingly make room in the way I work for active listening: sensing the people who reach out to me, what point in life they're at, what the real purpose of that trip is, and how open they are to letting the trip move something inside them. I let my intuition and what I pick up on from each person guide the design of the trip that suits them best.
Not all my travelers are looking for the same thing, and the first step is understanding what each one needs. For many, what they value most is disconnecting completely and enjoying themselves without complications — and that kind of comfort deserves just as much care in the design as any other trip. For others, when they're open to it, I encourage taking on some risk: pushing a little past the edges of the comfort zone, because that's where a trip can bring something new into your life, even if it isn't always comfortable.
Every trip I design draws on everything I've seen with others, but I try not to let myself be shaped by what worked for previous travelers: everyone who calls me deserves to be listened to from scratch, not fitted into a mold from past trips. Designing this way, starting from zero every time, is slower, but it's the only way I know to make a trip truly theirs.
The other half of the craft happens on the ground: a large part of my work is acting as a bridge between the traveler and my partners in each destination — the suppliers who make every experience possible. That's why I place more and more importance on choosing those partnerships well and looking after them: knowing exactly what each partner can offer, and what they can't, is an essential part of the craft. That relationship of trust with each partner is, at its core, an extension of the same trust I try to build with the traveler.
What a trip can move
A trip is one of the few times we truly throw ourselves into the unknown, leaving behind work, responsibilities, everyday relationships — and that's a little frightening. Earning my travelers' trust so they can take that leap feeling safe is part of my job.
But when we leave on a trip, we also leave behind a little of who we are, and that opens up the chance to discover who we can become in new situations. This is felt most strongly when traveling alone, but it also happens as a couple: a trip opens that same space to discover who the other person is, and how you relate to each other, faced with situations and challenges different from everyday life. Sometimes all it takes is leaving a gap unplanned in the itinerary for that space to happen — and it's felt less during the trip itself than afterward, in how you come back a little different from how you left.

We finally decided to take the trip to Egypt, and Willy made it wonderful. William put together our honeymoon trip. CHINA. It's a fairly complicated destination to do on your own. Everything went perfectly — the transfers, the choice of hotels, the restaurants and the guides... He got us Spanish-speaking guides in every city we visited, and there were quite a few. And working with him is wonderful — he knows how to understand what you need, and his suggestions are spot on. Next up... southern India...?

We took a trip with Will to Egypt in April. It was perfect! He took care of every detail and it was a different, wonderful trip. We're already thinking about where to go next year, whether with Will again or... repeating Egypt, since there's so much we still haven't seen!

Last year was our first trip organized by Willy — a safari in Tanzania and relaxing in Zanzibar — and it was so fantastic that we've done it again. Good things come in threes...
Our experience has been wonderful. Will organized our trip around Thailand to perfection, matching exactly what we wanted in terms of places to visit, type of hotels, etc. We had private transport at all times (comfortable, safe, punctual) and didn't have to worry about a thing. The excursions were private and customized, with professional guides who gave us a real sense of the local culture while also looking after our wellbeing. Will kept in touch during our trip and resolved an issue remotely as soon as we let him know. Even though we had a set itinerary, we had the option to adjust the schedule a bit along the way and even make a last-minute change, which made the trip even more enjoyable, without stress or unnecessary early mornings. We recommend this agency and will definitely be back!
We were on safari in the Masai Mara reserve (Kenya) and spent a few relaxing days in Zanzibar (Tanzania). It was a spectacular trip, organized by Will down to every last detail. He's always making sure everything goes well. We were lucky to find Will to put together our honeymoon. Thanks, champion, for everything! An unforgettable trip!
We just finished our second big trip with Will. The first was last summer to Tanzania, and this time we traveled through Norway. It's been absolutely amazing. Once again, better than we expected, which is hard given how high the bar already was. Having visited Oslo, Bergen and Ålesund (and the nearby fjords), the Lofoten Islands, in the north of the country, felt like being on another planet. We had a dream house on a small island, and got around by our own boat. Landscapes and endless sunsets — you have to go there to really understand it. The whole trip came together perfectly again: wonderful hotels, exquisite meals at the best restaurants, and incredible activities in dreamlike settings: a river cruise, a fishing boat, a speedboat safari. And all of it with excellent guides. That said, we're already thinking about our next destination with Will...
